Janelle Brown has officially moved into her new North Carolina home after years of sharing updates on its construction
She detailed her whirlwind move-in week and offered a look inside the abode in multiple Instagram posts
The home sits on 156 acres shared with her daughter Madison Brush and son-in-law Caleb Brush
Her cross-country move came after she ended her plural marriage with Sister Wives co-star Kody Brown
Janelle Brown has finally moved into her newly constructed North Carolina home!
The Sister Wives star documented her whirlwind move-in week in an Instagram Reel earlier this week, and she also gave her followers a glimpse inside her new abode in a video tour.
“Ok so last week ended up being one for the books,” Brown explained in her caption. “I didn’t plan to travel to Mexico the same week I closed on, and moved into my house, but it ended up that way.”
Brown reveals she spent four days in “beautiful” Cancun on a trip with her former sister wife Christine Brown, Christine’s husband David Woolley and another friend of theirs.
“We almost didn’t go because of the concerns in the news, but after checking the state department website and watching flights from the Cancun airport we went,” she continues, referring to the recent unrest in the country.
Included in the video were snaps of Janelle sightseeing with the group, as well as a few selfies of her soaking up the sun. She then shared a photo of her getting the keys to her home and finally being able to move into the abode.
“I am tired today and there is so much still left to do. But I am so happy and so excited,” she concluded the caption.
In an earlier post, Brown finally offered a look inside the home after updating her followers on its development over the last couple of years.
“Today is the day! My house is finished. Here is what it looks like walking in,” she captioned the video.
The kitchen

As she opens the door to her empty abode, a massive living area with a fireplace can be seen immediately. She makes her way towards the kitchen — which features a center island and stone countertops — while offering a look at the high ceilings the property boasts.

The space appears to have a connected dining area with doors leading outside to the deck. She then walks into what appears to be the primary bedroom which overlooks the front porch. In the attached bathroom, the massive space boasts dual sinks, a soaking tub and a separate shower.
Janelle’s new North Carolina abode is located on a 156-acre plot of land that she previously purchased with her daughter Madison Brush and son-in-law Caleb Brush. She first told her followers about the big purchase in December 2024 and has been providing plenty of updates on the property’s development since.

Of the property’s layout, she later noted that her daughter’s house would be located “maybe 100” yards away door to door, facing one another. Together, the trio — Janelle, her daughter Madison and Madison’s husband Caleb — all founded Taeda Farms, whose motto is “building beauty from the ground up.”
