Diet Coke Cherry launched in Ireland this week as a permanent addition to the Diet Coke portfolio, and it is now available nationwide.

The cherry flavour on the iconic Diet Coke taste fist launched internationally in the 1980s and is now coming to the Irish market with refreshed packaging and a clear role to drive the flavour category in the no-sugar market.

Cherry continues to over-index as both a flavour and a colour, appearing across seasonal food and drinks and reflected in Spring fashion through cherry red accents.

With a chic new look, this new product is set to become a staple for the Diet Coke portfolio nationwide, whether to refresh during a quick stroll, a mid-podcast sip, or a moment unwinding.

Speaking about the launch, senior marketing manager at Diet Coke Great Britain & Ireland, Tara Byrnes, said, “Diet Coke Cherry has a real fan following globally, and we’re delighted to bring it to Ireland as a permanent part of the Diet Coke line-up from March 2026.

“Cherry is a standout flavour, trending for the last three years and appearing across food and drink menus and in cherry-red fashion cues.

“Shoppers are actively looking for flavour variety and we are confident that with its bold taste and refreshed pack design, Diet Coke Cherry will offer retailers a strong new option to keep the Diet Coke category modern and help drive both immediate consumption and multipack purchase.”

Diet Coke Cherry is now available in 330ml cans, 2L bottles, and 330ml x 12 multipack cans, with pricing at retailer discretion.
