Good morning, Night Agent fans.

Netflix has renewed The Night Agent for a fourth season, the streamer announced on Friday. This one will shoot in Los Angeles; season three was filmed in New York City and Istanbul, Turkey.

Series star Gabriel Basso and its creator/showrunner Shawn Ryan have all sorts of stamps in their passports.

“It’s been a wild ride filming The Night Agent in five countries across three continents to this point and we’re so thrilled that the adventures of Peter Sutherland (Basso) will continue into season four,” Ryan said in a statement. “Our writers, our cast and our crew stand ready to answer the call to bring our incredible fans even more twists, turns and thrills.”

The Night Agent season three just released a few weeks ago. So far, so good. The third season is currently Netflix’s number two show, behind only Bridgerton season four. The Feb. 19 return has also brought back seasons one and two of The Night Agent to Netflix’s weekly top 10.

In the “All Time” rankings, The Night Agent is Netflix’s 10th-most-watched English-language series.

The season-four renewal comes as no shock here. Last month, Ryan told The Hollywood Reporter he was “actively working” on a fourth season while awaiting the official green light from Netflix.

“We’re not officially picked up yet, but we’ve been actively working on the writers room. So I just want to be super clear that there’s no news to report on that front,” Ryan said. “We are just focused on the creative, and when the time comes for Netflix to pick up, they’ll let you guys know.”

Well, recruits, they’ve let us know.

In addition to Ryan, Marney Hochman executive produces The Night Agent with MiddKid Productions. Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn EP for Exhibit A; James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and Nicole Tossou for Project X; David Beaubaire for Sunset Lane Media. Munis Rashid, Paul Bernard, Guy Ferland and Seth Fisher also executive produce the Sony Pictures Television series.

Here was the show’s season three synopsis (read spoilers here and here): “Coming off the explosive events of season two, Night Agent Peter Sutherland is called in to track down a young Treasury Agent who fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss. This kicks off a sequence of events where Peter investigates a dark money network while avoiding its paid assassins, while putting him on a collision course with a relentless journalist. Working together, they uncover buried secrets and old grudges that threaten to bring the government to its knees — and get them both killed in the process.”
