Fans of Cork City FC can once again enjoy watching their away matches in the luxury of cinema seats, following the renewal of an arrangement between the soccer club and a Cork cinema group.
Cork City Football Club has announced that its popular partnership with The Arc Cinema has kicked in for the 2026 season and it now covers two out-of-town venues too.
First launched last year, the collaboration allows Cork City fans to enjoy the club’s away games on the big screen.
After the success of last season’s screenings at the North Main St cinema in the city centre, the arrangement has now been expanded to include the recently-refurbished cinemas in Mallow and Midleton, bringing the big match atmosphere to supporters right across the county. The first Cork City away game to be screened across the three cinemas will be against Donegal’s Finn Harps on Friday April 3, with further fixtures to be confirmed later in the season.
Commercial manager at Cork City FC, Anthony O’Sullivan, said that he is delighted that The Arc Cinema will be continuing its partnership with the football club for another season.
“It’s a fantastic way for the club to offer fans and supporters the opportunity to gather together and watch the match as a collective, and to truly experience the highs and hopefully very few lows of away games throughout the season,” he said.
Tickets for the game against Finn Harps will be available through The Arc Cinema website at ArcCinema.ie.
