Eric Roberts has hot-footed his way to the final of RTE’s Dancing with the Stars.

The Downings man pulled out all the stops to impress the judges on tonight’s semi-final.

And all his hard work paid off when he came ot on top of the judge’s score-cards.

Eric scored a maximum 40 points with double dance partners Arianna and Kylee with a stunning Quickstep to the 1940s to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by The Puppini Sisters.

Even the normally tight-pointed judge Brian Redmond gave Brian ten points saying “That was so difficult and you did well not to fall over. Well done.” It’s a 10 from Brian.

After an intense ‘Dancing through the Decades’ themed semi-final, Jordan Dargan was eliminated from the show tonight.

Eric is now one of the favourites to clinch the glitter ball when the final takes place next Sunday evening.

Eric will have his work cut out for him.

He must overcome Traitors star Paudie Moloney, Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins and singer songwriter Tolü Makay if he is to claim this year’s title.

Donegal is behind you Eric!
