Gardai were forced to use a stinger device on a car in the Lifford area on Sunday night.
It followed a crackdown by members of Buncrana Roads Policing Unit, Milford Roads Policing Unit and other local Garda Units.
A driver failed to stop when signalled to do so at one of their checkpoints in the Porthall area but instead continued onwards in a dangerous manner.
The stinger device was successfully deployed.
The car in question was later located abandoned in the Lifford area and it was seized. Gardai say their investigations are ongoing.
Another car was seized as the NCT had expired and the insurance policy was discovered to be inactive.
A Fixed Charge Penalty Notice and court proceedings will follow.
