Cragaballa, Killasser, Swinford and formerly of Cullane, Swinford – in her 97th year, peacefully at Mayo University Hospital on the 7th of March 2026, surrounded by her beloved family.
Predeceased by her loving husband John, her son Michael, grandsons Anthony, Michael and Patrick, her parents Michael and Margaret Gallagher, her four brothers and sister.
Catherine will be deeply missed by her loving children Marian, Áine, Seán and Kathleen, her son-in- laws Padraig, Tony and Jimmy and daughter-in- law Teresa, her adored nine grandchildren and all of her nephews and nieces and much loved family, neighbours and friends.
May her kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Catherine will repose at her residence in Cragaballa, Killasser, Swinford (F12CT80) this Wednesday evening, 11th March from 5pm until 8pm.
Removal from her residence this Thursday morning, 12th March to All Saints Church, Killasser for Mass at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in Killasser Cemetery.
