Coronation Street spoilers follow from Tuesday’s episode (10 March), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Coronation Street airs a huge twist in Todd Grimshaw’s relationship tonight as Theo Silverton decided to call it quits. But the villain’s reign of terror is far from over, with his manipulation and abuse set to escalate next week.
Today’s episode picks up from the terrifying events of last night, which saw Theo threatening Todd with a knife. Following the huge fight, a weary Todd sweeps up the smashed mugs and calls in sick to work.

Meanwhile, on the street, Gary Windass notices Theo asleep in his van, having spent the night there. But before he can approach, the scaffolder quickly drives away.
“Look, it’s me and Todd. We had a row,” Theo later confesses, before lying about the reason. “He was going off his head about not having any money.”
Back at the flat, Todd is still reeling from the fight and becomes agitated when the blender won’t work. Gary walks in to collect some of Theo’s things and witnesses him throwing it across the room in frustration.
A dejected Todd enquires about Theo and admits he wants to sort things out, so Gary calls him over to talk. But when the villain arrives, it’s clear he’s in no mood to reconcile.

“We can’t just keep going on like this. Like fighting, forgiving, patching things up and then it all just kicks off all over again,” Todd says.
To his surprise, Theo agrees, telling him: “We should knock it on the head.”
“Oh, come on. We both know it’s over. Every nice moment we’ve had has been ruined with a fight… I’m not happy and you’re not happy. And all anybody wants is to be happy, innit?” he continues, before taking off his engagement ring.
He exits the flat, leaving Todd looking confused but slightly relieved. However, Todd’s peace of mind won’t last for long, as Theo enacts his dark revenge next week.
