Alzheimer’s Tea Day is one of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s largest annual fundraising events, bringing communities together to raise vital funds for dementia supports and services.

With 64,000 people living with dementia in Ireland, and numbers expected to double in the next 20 years, the need for community support has never been greater.

People across Ireland are invited to register now at www.teaday.ie to receive a free Alzheimer’s Tea Day Party Pack, filled with everything needed to host an event on or around Thursday May 7, 2026. The pack includes balloons, recipes, collection boxes and posters.

Funds raised through Alzheimer’s Tea Day support essential services such as the Alzheimer National Helpline, Daycare centres, home care, dementia advisers, family carer training, social clubs, and Alzheimer Cafés, said a spokeswoman.
