AES Ohio customers in Miami County accounted for 1,420 outages, according to the outage map.

By 5:05 p.m., that number had fallen to 317 AES customers in Miami County and a little over 1,200 AES customers in the area. At the same time, outages rose in Warren County, where 703 customers were without power.

Strong winds are impacting the region and AES Ohio crews are working to make repairs as quickly as possible, the company said.

AES Ohio reminded people to stay away from downed power lines and to call 877-468-8243 to report any outages.

In total, as of 5:05 p.m., AES Ohio was reporting the following outages:

• Champaign County: 231

• Darke County: 370

• Greene County: 33

• Miami County: 317

• Montgomery County: 147

• Preble County: 138

• Warren County: 1

As of 5:05 p.m., Duke Energy reported the following outages:

• Butler County: 1

• Warren County: 703

Ohio Edison had 20 customers without power in Clark County and 11 in Champaign County.
