Guest vocalists and musicians will join The Pogues on their greatest hits tour for dates in Dublin, Belfast and Killarney this December.
The guests will be announced closer to the tour, which also include shows in the UK, Germany and The Netherlands
The Pogues Greatest Hits Tour 2026 visits the 3Arena Dublin on 9 December, SSE Arena Belfast on 10 December, and Gleneagle Arena Killarney on 12 December, with tickets on sale on Wednesday 18 March at 10am.
Original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy will be joined by special guest musicians and singers, “among them the cream of the current generation of Irish artists, whose reimagining of traditional forms has provided some of the most extraordinary music of the last few years”.
For their recent reunion tours, The Pogues were joined by vocalists Nadine Shah, Lisa O’Neill, John Francis Flynn, Daragh Lynch of Lankum, and Iona Zajac, while Holly Mullineaux of Goat Girl, Jordan O’Leary of The Scratch, and Jim Sclavunos (Bad Seeds were among the guest musicians.
In statement, the band said, “After the incredible reaction to our recent anniversary shows, we wanted to take the celebration even further – we hope you’ll come along, it will most definitely be worth it.”
It follows news that Bruce Springsteen will release a cover of the band’s classic song A Rainy Night in Soho as part of an upcoming tribute album to the late Pogues singer Shane MacGown who passed away in November 2023 aged 65.
