The family of Kerry’s Oscar-hopeful Jessie Buckley have departed Dublin today, bound for Los Angeles for the 98th Oscars this weekend.
Buckley is odds-on favourite to win Best Actress in a Leading Role at this Sunday’s Oscars ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Aer Lingus says it rolled out the red carpet for Jessie’s parents Marina and Tim Buckley, and her sister Lily, as they boarded the flight direct from Dublin to Los Angeles.
