Patients who are treated by doctors in Irish hospitals will increasingly have another “silent partner” involved in their care which could speed up diagnosis, it has emerged.
Artificial intelligence (AI) will be used to a greater degree in hospitals, according to the country’s first five-year strategy on how to utilise the technology in healthcare.
