Rebecca Ferguson first arrived on the blockbuster scene almost 10 years ago when she starred opposite Hugh Jackman in The Greatest Showman. She later teamed up with Tom Cruise for a trio of Mission: Impossible movies before she joined one of the greatest sci-fi franchises of all time in Dune. Ferguson has portrayed the formidable Lady Jessica in the first two Dune movies, and while she has confirmed her role in Dune: Part Three, she recently revealed that it will be limited to only one scene. Fans can rest assured that this scene will still be one of the strongest in the entire film.

Before she returns to Arrakis for the third and final time, though, Ferguson will star opposite Cillian Murphy in The Immortal Man, the Peaky Blinders spin-off movie coming to Netflix on March 20. Collider’s Steve Weintraub recently caught up with Ferguson on the press tour for the film, and he asked if there was anything she could tease about Dune 3. She played coy, saying, “It’s coming to a theater near you,” but when pressed a little harder, she shared the tease fans have been waiting for:

“It’s phenomenal. It’s very rare. To be honest, I haven’t done a film that has had three parts in it, so it’s my first time. It’s rare for me to watch something where you think it fundamentally just keeps getting better and better. I felt that way when I read the script. I love Dune one. I think two is a fundamentally fantastic continuation, and I’m excited about three.”

The first two Dune films have earned widespread acclaim from critics and audiences while also finding box office success, but it’s certainly reassuring to hear that Part Three will top it all. Ferguson will star alongside Timothée Chalamet, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, and more in the threequel.
