A murder trial was told that an attempt may have been made to amputate the arm of a mother of two after she died.

The murder trial of Adam Corcoran (31) heard witnesses describe the “gruesome” injuries that were visible on his partner Daena Walsh (27). The injuries ranged from a stab injury to her chest described as “a gaping wound”, a slit throat and a partially amputated left arm.
