A star studded lineup is in store for The Late Late Show on Friday with the likes of Joanne McNally, Glen Hansard and more Irish talent promised.

Before making her mark in Australia with her hit show Pinotphile , Joanne McNally will be in the studio to chat making history as the first Irish comedian to headline back to back 3Arena shows.

One of Ireland’s greats, Glen Hansard will also make an appearance on the show, reflecting on his journey to winning an Oscar. Glen will be performing one of his favourite Irish songs to celebrate the upcoming weekend and will be celebrating the art of Irish music.

Ireland’s own Hollywood actor, Jonathan Rhys Meyers will be in the studio where he will chat about the impact of the LA wildfires on his home and his recent move to County Wexford. He’ll also be sharing his experience with rural life and future plans.

Tommy Tiernan and Mick Flannery will be adding to the lineup to chat about The House Must Win, a new musical drama written by Mick and starring Tommy. Their shared passion for music and storytelling will grip the audience and Mick may even give a taste of what the audience can expect from the musical.

Louise Cantillon, Doireann Ní Ghlacáin and Síomha Ní Ruairc, hosts of How To Gael podcast will also stop by this Friday. They’ll talk about the Irish language revival and Gaeilgeoir pride.

Cork poet and writer Daragh Fleming will perform a specially commissioned poem about St Patrick’s Day past and present.

Irish female trad group Biird will take to the Late Late stage to keep the celebrations alive.
