Fans looking to tune in for Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday night might be left a little disappointed, as there’ll be a change to the TV schedule on ITV to make room for the Six Nations. Coverage of the rugby tournament will kick off at 7.20pm on ITV1, with the live match between England and France set to start at 8.10pm.

Of course, this slot is usually reserved for BGT, with the new season having started back in February. The pre-recorded earlier rounds of the hit talent competition have been airing since then, but viewers will have to wait a bit longer to see the next batch of auditions.

It’s been quite an eventful series of Britain’s Got Talent so far, with Stacey Solomon joining for a surprise stint as a guest judge. Stepping in for Simon Cowell, who had to miss filming for a few episodes, the temporary shake-up saw Amanda Holden taking on the role of head judge (which she said she “hated”), while the Loose Women favourite joined Alesha Dixon and KSI on the rest of the judging panel for a number of auditions.

We’ve had the first Golden Buzzer of the year, with Simon hitting the coveted button for para-athlete Paul Nunnari – who stunned with an impressive aerial silk routine – covering him in a sheet of confetti and securing his place in the semi-finals.

Judge KSI said: “In the first half, we were impressed, and then you just upped it again? That’s one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Alesha then said she was “actually speechless”, before telling the contestant: “You’re really amazing, you’ll inspire millions and millions of people. No excuses, right? I love you.”

Simon Cowell admitted that Paul’s routine had changed his opinion on silks, having previously not really been a fan. He then branded the audition “one of the most incredible things, I really do believe, that I’ve ever seen”, before calling Paul “so humble, and so nice and so talented”.

KSI also gave a Golden Buzzer, handing his burst of confetti to young musical magician Rafferty Coope. During the mesmerising act, Ant declared to the camera: “He’s good!”

The third Golden Buzzer of the season was dished out by Alesha, who jumped at the chance to award it to Antigravity – who, in a show-first, turned their audition into a real-life video game.
