In the end we came up just short, but if there has been a more engrossing or more entertaining Five/Six Nations than what we have been privileged to witness over the last six weeks, then I sure can’t recall it.

Super Saturday in a rugby context turned out – as we had anticipated – to be all of that and more. I love my round ball with equal passion but whereas association football has serious problems in its current make-up, rugby union has the potential ‘to be great again’.
