Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams get super cosy at the Oscars

Love was in the air as Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams walked the red carpet at the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday night.

The couple finally went red carpet official with their romance at the BAFTA awards in February, after first being linked together in 2024.

As the Oscars unfolded, the usually private duo stepped things up a notch with a very affectionate display on the red carpet.

Paul and Gracie could barely keep their hands off one another as they happily posed for photographers on the night.

At one point, the American singer can be seen leaning into Paul while he puts a protective arm on her waist.

She can also be seen excitedly whispering in his ear as he grins from ear to ear, while other snaps show them gazing adoringly into one another’s eyes.

Gracie looked spectacular in a glittering black two-piece set from Chanel, consisting of a strappy bodice and long skirt that was the perfect choice for the ocassion.

A coordinating mesh scarf draped around her neck added romantic appeal to her look, which she elegantly decorated with jewellery, also from Chanel.

Paul meanwhile, was dapper as ever in a black suit, which he styled up with Cartier jewellery. Paul missed out on the nomination for Best Actor for Hamnet at the awards, but was enlisted to co-present the first-ever award for Best Casting on the night.

Hamnet is also in the running for Best Picture, while the entire nation was rooting for his co-star Jessie Buckley to make history by being the first ever Irish Person to win the Best Actress award.
