Spring may have sprung, but Nicola Coughlan channelled edgy and vampy glamour at last night’s preview screening for her latest project.
Fans will associate Coughlan with the colourful and feminine costumes from her starring role in Netflix’s Bridgerton, but the Galway star has consistently showed her flair for high fashion on the red carpet, whether it’s a voluminous ballgown or a modern take on tailoring.

Last night, the star stepped out in a look at screamed ‘cool girl’, at a screening for the newest season of her show Big Mood at BFI Southbank, London.
Styled as always by Aimee Croysdill, Coughlan wore a leather mini dress that channelled the drama of the 80s. It featured a high collar, voluminous sleeves, pockets on the bust and hips and a matching belt to cinch the waist.

She paired this with black sheer tights and pointed black high heels.
Her hair was styled by Patrick Wilson into loose and relaxed waves, while makeup artist Neil Young created a minimal and pared back beauty look, with a smokey eye and a coral lipstick.
