Residents in Letterkenny residential suburb give a “s****”

Residents in one of Letterkenny’s oldest housing areas are sick of dog poop.

So much so that they have taken the trouble to make their own posters pleading with offenders to clean up after themselves.

This of one of the posters which has appeared in the Ard O’Donnell of the town.

And the no-nonsense poster, taped to an ESB pole, gets to the point.

“Pick up ur dogs shite,” the poster says.

A walk around the popular residential suburb quickly shows the need for such posters.

Like many other residential areas in the town and other towns, many dog owners are simply not cleaning up after their pets.
