Marvel is being mysterious with two new movies slated for 2029.

Marvel has just had a successful trailer launch as the campaign for Spider-Man: Brand New Day broke records with over 718 million views online. It took only eight hours to break the global trailer record, which was previously held over a 24-hour period by Deadpool & Wolverine with 373 million views. Brand New Day is due to be released this year on July 31, followed by Avengers: Doomsday on December 18.

The Wrap has reported that Marvel will be releasing two untitled movies on May 4, 2029, and July 13, 2029. Another untitled Marvel movie, which was supposed to be released on February 18, 2028, has since moved to July 28, 2028. The MCU is busy over the next few years with Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday releasing in 2026, followed by Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse on June 18, 2027. Daredevil: Born Again season 2 was just released on March 24, and there are other Marvel TV series set to arrive, including X-Men ’97 season 2 coming around Summer 2026, and VisionQuest, which has yet to reveal a release date.

Avengers: Doomsday is gearing up to be one to watch this year after the news that many of the original heroes will be returning, including Chris Evans’ Captain America, but also Robert Downey Jr., just not in the way people once hoped. Iron Man may have met his match, but Downey Jr. will not be leaving the MCU quietly, as he will be returning as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers movie. Despite the ongoing speculation about what this may mean, it’s clear Marvel still has a few tricks up their sleeve.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is also facing the potential to explode at the box office due to the ongoing excitement as Peter Parker faces life alone after the events of No Way Home, causing his loved ones and the world to forget who he is. The multiverse could still be a contender in the upcoming movies, causing chaos and havoc for fan-favorite Marvel heroes.
