Bournemouth have proven tricky to beat on home turf this season, losing just two of their 15 Premier League games played there. As mentioned earlier, they’re enjoying a run of nine games without a loss, while at the Vitality, they’ve only lost one of their last eight.

For sure, they’ve been drawing too many; five of those eight home matches ended level, but it only goes to prove that Andoni Iraola has made them incredibly tough to break down.

Manchester United are enjoying some great form under the tutelage of Michael Carrick, winning seven, drawing one, and losing one. On the road, they’ve won two, drawn one, and lost one. Three of the last four meetings between the clubs, at both grounds, have ended level, and yes, United are in the better form, but the Cherries’ home record of being able to keep opposition attacks at bay means we’re getting some very decent value in the Draw price.

Bruno Fernandes to score or assist

Thierry Henry in the 2002/03 season and Kevin de Bruyne in the 2019/20 season currently share the Premier League record for most assists in a season with 20. United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes, has 16 so far this season, along with seven goals.

He’s faced Bournemouth eight times since joining the Red Devils in 2020, scoring four times and assisting four times. With five goal involvements over his last three games, we have to back a player enjoying some great form of late.

Junior Kroupi to have 1+ shots on target

Junior Kroupi scored the final goal in the madcap 4-4 reverse fixture we witnessed back in mid-December at Old Trafford. The young Frenchman has eight goals in the Premier League this season and looks very comfortable playing in the Number 10 role, offering support for Evanilson.

This match has the feel that we’ll see plenty of action in the middle of the park as both sets of midfielders look to dictate the game and spread the ball into threatening positions, and Kroupi should get a few chances to have a pop.

Casemiro to commit 2+ fouls

Casemiro’s “6-7” celebration after scoring against Aston Villa brought a new level of cringe to the Premier League last Sunday. The Brazilian has picked up eight yellow cards in the league thus far and averages 1.3 fouls per game, but on the road, it rises to 1.46.

There’s little doubt that the Cherries will frustrate the away side here and won’t want to give up their good home record. Of all the United players, it’s usually their Brazilian enforcer who steps in to break up opposition play, so we can certainly see him commit a couple of fouls.

Over 9.5 corners

The home side has so far averaged 5.47 and conceded 4.0 corners per home Premier League game this season, while for United the figures are 4.13 and 5.40 on their excursions.

Because the hosts are so compact at home when they lose possession, they’ll force United to feed crosses into the box, which they’ll likely be able to deal with, and to shoot from distance, meaning we should see plenty of corners on Friday night.
