Sonos introduced its Sonos Play and Sonos Era 100 SL earlier this month, and they’re officially coming to market on March 31, 2026. Both are designed to deliver room-filling sound, and expand the connected listening experience throughout the home.

Sonos Play offers stereo sound that you can move with you, similar to the Sonos Move 2. Connect it over Wi-Fi or pair two for stereo sound. It comes with a charging case it keep it powered up along with a removable utility loop and up to 24 hours of battery life. It comes housed in a durable IP67 rated chassis and doubles as a power bank to keep your phone charged up on the go as well.

For the first time, you can group multiple speakers together outside of the home as well, using Bluetooth. Connect Sonos Play to your phone, then press and hold Play/Pause on up to three additional Sonos Play or Move 2 speakers to sync them together. Automatic Trueplay tuning dynamically adapts the sound to any environment.

Continuing with Sonos’ sustainable design promise, it comes with optimized power management and a replaceable battery. It works with voice services, Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, and the Sonos app.

Sonos Era 100 SL

For an at-home experience, there’s the Sonos Era 100 SL, which joins the Sonos Era 100 and Sonos Era 300 in the line. Designed to offer a simplified experience, it boasts a streamlined, mic-free design. Delivering room-filling sound as well, use it to expand a home theatre, on its own in a room, or for a stereo pairing. Use your preferred voice assistant and listen over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Sonos Play and Sonos Era 100 SL are available for pre-order priced at $399 and $249, respectively, with general availability on March 31, 2026.
