This Saturday’s Premier League action gets underway with a lunchtime clash on the south coast, as Brighton aim to get a win that would move them to within six points of fifth-place Liverpool. With a top-five finish potentially being enough to get into the Champions League for a second year running, this one could be more than just a tale of mid-table dwellers vs European chasers.
A former midfielder for the Reds, PP Ambassador Joe Cole gives his thoughts on this one. His selections include picks that are covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is hooked off, the bet carries over to his replacement. So, let’s get his Brighton v Liverpool tips…

Liverpool to Win & Both Teams to Score
Liverpool drew 1-1 with Spurs last week, nobody expected that and it was a coupon buster. They’re fifth in the league, chasing Villa, and one point ahead of Chelsea, and this is the sort of game they need to win.
Brighton are 12th, and they’re just having one of those seasons where nothing’s really happening for them. That said, Brighton have won three of their last four league games, so they could get off the mark. So, Liverpool to win and both teams to score.
Hugo Ekitike ended February with a goal and two assists in that 5-2 rout of West Ham. He is yet to score a league goal in March, but I feel like he’s due one after getting onto the scoresheet against Galatasaray in midweek.
Mohamed Salah 2+ Shots
Salah looked good against Galatasaray, getting a goal and an asisst. That means he’s now scored on each of the last three occasions he’s played more than an hour, so getting two shots away against Brighton shouldn’t be a problem.
