Revered folk singer Dolores Keane’s funeral mass remembered a “wonderful ambassador” for Irish culture and tradition as she was laid to rest in her native Galway.
On Friday afternoon, gifts representing her love of family, music and her homeland of Caherlistrane were carried to the altar of St Patrick and St Cuana Corner Chapel, her parish church in Co Galway.
