Lucas Tindall, who is the youngest of Zara and Mike Tindall’s three children, is celebrating his fifth birthday today. Typical of royal birthdays, the family will likely be marking the young royal’s special day privately.
The equestrian, who is the only daughter of Princess Anne, and a former rugby professional, is also a proud parent of two daughters, Mia, 11, and seven-year-old Lena. The Tindall family currently reside on the Princess Royal’s Gloucestershire estate.

Lucas Philip Tindall was born on March 21, 2021, to Zara and Mike Tindall – a much-loved little brother for Mia and Lena. Zara, 44, gave birth in the family’s bathroom at their Gloucestershire home with the help of her friend, now Lady-in-waiting to Princess Anne, Dolly Maude.Â

During an episode on his The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast, Mike recounted the moment that they welcomed their only son: “[Ms Maude] recognised that we wouldn’t have got to hospital in time. So, it was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get a mat on the floor, towels down, ‘brace-brace-brace.'”

Speaking further about the birth, Mike added: “Fortunately, the midwife, who was going to meet us at the hospital, wasn’t that far away, so she drove up, got there just as we’d assumed the pos-ish [as he called the position]. And then the second midwife arrived just after the head had arrived.”
