A food safety alert has been issued for certain batches of Dunnes Stores Plain Tortilla Wraps.

This recall stems from the potential presence of foreign metal objects within the product. For safety reasons the retailer and authorities are moving quickly to clear these items from circulation.

The specific products you need to look out for are the 512g packs of Dunnes Stores Plain Tortilla Wraps sourced from the Netherlands. To see if your pantry is affected, check the best-before dates printed on the packaging.

The batches included in this recall are those marked with the dates May 29, 2026, May 30, 2026, and May 31, 2026. If your wraps match these specific dates, it is important to set them aside immediately rather than using them for your next meal.

Dunnes Stores is currently in the process of pulling these specific batches from their shelves and will be posting recall notices at checkout counters to keep shoppers informed. If you find you have one of these packs at home, the official advice is to avoid eating them entirely.

You can return the product to any Dunnes Stores location for a full refund or simply discard it. Retailers and wholesalers have also been instructed to cease all sales of these batches to ensure no further contaminated wraps make it into shopping baskets.
