In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, tensions at Home Farm reach boiling point and Kim Tate takes drastic steps to protect herself. But will this be enough?

Meanwhile, Joe Tate delivers a nasty surprise which threatens Robert Sugden’s livelihood, just days after the big changeover at Butlers Farm.

1. Kim turns to Ross for back-upkim tate, emmerdale

Kim crosses paths with Ross at The Woolpack and conversation turns to their short-lived period working together last year.

As Ross is in Kim’s good books after defending her against Chas’s recent outburst, the Home Farm queen realises that he could prove useful to her and decides to reward him.

Ross is hired as “Director of Operations” at the mansion, under strict instruction to oversee security and protect Kim’s interests. Can Ross make a better go of it second time round?

2. Ross causes chaos at Home Farmmichael parr as ross barton in emmerdale

Ross’s arrival at Home Farm goes down badly with Joe, Dawn and Graham – especially when he can’t resist winding them all up. Gabby, meanwhile, seems far more amenable to the idea of having Ross there.

When Ross turns nasty in a clash with Dawn, disapproving Joe and Graham both try to warn him off.

3. Kim and Graham face off in an ominous showdownkim tate, graham foster, emmerdale

As simmering tensions threaten to spiral out of control, Kim and Graham argue bitterly over which of them should be most worried about an imminent revenge attempt.

Kim reckons that Graham has few supporters left in the village and should watch his back, but Graham points out that Kim isn’t winning many friends at the moment either…

With storm clouds gathering, can we expect sinister developments ahead at Home Farm?

4. Robert fears for the farm’s future – alreadyrobert sugden, aaron dingle, emmerdale

Robert is horrified when Joe announces that he plans to sell the cattle herd at Butlers farm. Although Robert had mistakenly assumed the animals were included in the tenant farm deal, the small print in his contract suggests otherwise.

It’s panic stations already for Robert, who warns Aaron that the farm could go under if they lose the cattle.

5. Kerry faces the music at workkerry wyatt, jai sharma, emmerdale

Jai faces an impossible dilemma when Caleb orders him to give Kerry a formal warning over her recent slacking at the depot.

It’s excruciating for Jai as he’s forced to call Kerry into the office and tell her off in front of Caleb – all to maintain their cover as their secret fling continues.

Will Kerry see the funny side once Caleb is out of the room?
