Sinn Féin TD Joanna Byrne has hit back at the US-based owners of Drogheda United, following the announcement of their decision to remove her from the club’s board.
Byrne labelled the actions by Drogheda’s controlling Trivela group as “a cold, underhand move, initiated in the dark of the night, which was planned and co-ordinated without any consultation with me”.
