Hospital chaplain Manus Ferry availed of a clinical trial using a new open radiotherapy mask that enables patients to see out during treatment and was delighted to learn that his treatment worked. He is telling his story to help others

Manus Ferry (52) works as a chaplain in Tallaght Hospital, meaning “I’m dealing with sickness and death all around me.”
Some years ago, he had his own brush with both when he was diagnosed with cancer in his leg.
