Gardaí are investigating an incident that occurred at a house in the area of Sockar, Trentagh, Letterkenny shortly after 2.20am on Wednesday last, March 18th.
A notification was received from an external CCTV camera that activity was taking place outside the house.
It was then established that a man had been on the grounds of the house. He was wearing dark clothing and had a balaclava on.
Nothing was stolen from the property.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have observed any type of suspicious activity, vehicles or people on foot in that area around that time, to get in touch with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.
“We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have travelled in that area around the time in question with a dash-cam. Any relevant information may alternatively be passed on to the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
