Aoibhin Garrihy has welcomed her fourth child with husband John Burke.
The BEO wellness entrepreneur announced the news on social media as she shared that they have welcomed another daughter – and revealed her beautiful name.
Sharing a sweet video of the family’s newest addition, Aoibhin wrote: “She’s Here.
“Aoileann Burke arrived safely on Sunday and our hearts have been bursting with love ever since.”
The comments were flooded with kind messages as her sister Doireann wrote: “We’re bursting to be your besties for life Aoileann.”
“Awww huge congratulations sending much love!” said Newstalk’s Ciara Kelly.
Lorraine Keane wrote: “Wow Aoibhin she is absolutely beautiful. Another precious, healthy, little baby girl. Congratulations mum & dad and big sisters.”
Aoibhin and John are also parents to eight-year-old Hanorah, six-year-old Liobhan and Isla, three.
Back in December Aoibhin revealed the family were expecting child number four.
She posed in front of the Christmas tree as her three children cuddled her in matching tartan pyjamas. The photo was captioned: “Counting our blessings…one more on the way.”
It has been a busy time for the Garrihy clan, with sisters Ailbhe and Doireann welcoming children in the last few months.
Doireann and her husband Mark Mehigan welcomed their first child in October, while Ailbhe and her husband Ruaidhri saw the arrival of their third child in November.
It comes as in December, Aoibhin opened up about the sweet nightly ritual she shares with her husband John and their three daughters.
She said evenings in their house always wind down with books, chats and cuddles, with her three daughters and husband John, something she treasures, describing the moments as ‘magical’, especially as the girls grow older and become “full of information” from their latest encyclopaedia obsessions.
“They’re so close in age, so they enjoy the same stories. We all read together,” she told RSVP. “Hanorah has her own room and she’s really into encyclopedias at the minute, about the body and science. John does that time with her, and they learn a few fun facts every evening. She comes down full of information the next morning — it’s very cute.”
