The 2026 CrossFit Quarterfinals are the second stage of the CrossFit Games season. After finishing in the top 25% in the world during the CrossFit Open, athletes have now been given four workouts to complete between March 26-30.
There are three goals of Quarterfinals…
First, athletes must finish in the top 2,000 worldwide in the Quarterfinals to be eligible to qualify for the 2026 CrossFit Games. While some have already been invited to compete at in-person Semifinals, they still have to finish in the top 2,000 to receive an invite if they end up in a qualifying spot.
Second, the top 2,000 worldwide will be invited to compete in the Online Semifinals in June where the top 7 men and top 7 women will qualify for the 2026 CrossFit Games.
And finally, several in-person Semifinals will use Quarterfinals to fill their roster.
However, only four of the 10 Semifinals (yes, 4!) will invite athletes based on their performance in Quarterfinals. The rest of the Semifinals are invite-only (Mayhem Classic) or utilized their own online qualifier.
Here is a list of Semifinals that will use Quarterfinals (at least partially) to determine their field…
Spots Available
French Throwdown. The top 19 men and women on the European leaderboard in Quarterfinals will receive an invite to compete at the French Throwdown. Backfill invites from the European leaderboard until all 19 spots have been filled.
Legends Championship. The top 10 men and women from the worldwide Quarterfinals leaderboard will be invited to compete at the Legends Championship. They will join athletes who were invited based on their 2025 CrossFit Games performance for a total field of 20 athletes.
Syndicate Crown. While the top 20 athletes from the 2025 CrossFit Games received special invites, the rest of the field will be determined based on performance in Quarterfinals. The top men and women on the worldwide Quarterfinals leaderboard will receive invites to compete at Syndicate Crown. Backfills invites will occur until the 40 men and 40 women roster is full.
Torian Pro. Athletes looking to qualify for Torian Pro must do the Quarterfinal workouts and submit their scores on the CrossFit Games leaderboard. Athletes must also register for the Torian Pro Qualifier on Competition Corner and enter those same Quarterfinals workout scores. The top 30 men and 30 women will be invited to compete at Torian Pro (plus an additional 2 discretionary invites per division may be awarded).
No Spots Available
Five of the Semifinals will not allocate any spots to their Semifinal based on Quarterfinals…
Copa Sur. There are three ways to qualify for this year’s Copa Sur. None of them involve the CrossFit Quarterfinals.
Far East Throwdown. All 30 spots for men and women were filled via the Far East Throwdown’s online qualifier. No additional spots will be awarded via CrossFit Quarterfinals.
MAD Fitness Festival. To qualify for MAD Fitness Festival athletes had to finish in the top 30 in the online qualifier back in January. On top of that, there are 18 wildcard spots (aka special invites) available to the top athletes. There are not any available spots via the CrossFit Quarterfinals.
Mayhem Classic. Special invite only and those invites are already handed out. Quarterfinals could be used to backfill any late withdrawals, but it is not guaranteed.
Rebel Renegade Games. There were multiple ways to qualify for this year’s Rebel Renegade Games. There was a live invitational event and and online qualifier right before the start of the CrossFit Open. There are no spots available based on an athlete’s performance in Quarterfinals.
Maybe Spots Available
NorCal Classic. While NorCal does not guarantee any spots based on Quarterfinals performance, it has reserved up to 15 at-large spots for athletes who have won select competitions and finish in the top 2,000 worldwide in Quarterfinals.
