When you hear the words “Michelin-starred restaurant”, your mind probably jumps straight to an eye-watering bill at the end of the meal. Yet they’re not all prohibitively expensive – you might be surprised at how affordable some of their menus can be.
Ireland now has 23 restaurants that have been granted a star by the prestigious French guide in 2026, while a further 19 have been awarded a Bib Gourmand, a special distinction from the culinary bible that recognises high-quality food at reasonable prices.
