Earlier on in the episode, comedian Ted Hill was given a route straight into the live shows after impressing Ant and Dec.

However, that wasn’t to be the last of the golden buzzers for the episode as an “amazing” singer stunned the crowd with his “fantastic voice”.

Matty Juniosa awarded golden buzzer on BGT by Simon Cowell

Filipino singer Matty Juniosa took to the stage and impressed the crowd, as well as Simon Cowell, with his rendition of ‘Purple Rain’.

He shared that he had been working as a part-time waiter and had lived in Glasgow for a few years.

However, his dream was to sing on stage, and he made an impression with his performance.

After the crowd encouraged the judges to press the golden buzzer, Simon duly obliged to reduce Matty to tears.

Plenty of people took to X to discuss his performance, as one shared: “He deserved that gold!

“What a fantastic voice!”

Another wrote: “Loved him, his vocal range was insane!”

A third commented: “Wow Matty was AMAZING!

“The golden buzzer was so deserved absolutely love him.”

Who else has got a golden buzzer so far in BGT 2026?

Simon’s golden buzzer was the sixth of the series, with KSI, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Ant & Dec, and Simon himself having already pressed it once this series

Simon was the first to press the gold in the opening episode, to Australian para athlete Paul Nunnari, who blew away the judging panel with his incredible wheelchair stunts.

KSI awarded the second golden buzzer of the series to 16-year-old magician Rafferty Coope, whose trick involved making a coin pass through solid glass and a card trick that led to him playing the song Don’t Stop Believing on the piano.

The third golden buzzer was awarded to entertainment act Antigravity by Alesha Dixon.

Their audition followed one of the actors as they floated around on a screen, following routes and paths as if they were in a video game.

The judges said it was one of the best performances in the show’s 19-year history, and the first of its kind.

Amanda Holden awarded her golden buzzer to the 34-person choir made up entirely of real British farmers.

It was created as a promotional and campaigning project linked to Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone beer and cider brand.

Finally, Ant and Dec’s golden buzzer was given to comedian Ted Hill, who incorporated a PowerPoint presentation and videos into his stand-up set.
