A woman in her 50s has been released without charge after being arrested in connection with an investigation into the discovery of a man’s body in Dublin.
Gardaà are continuing to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of the man (aged in his 50s) in Cookstown, Dublin 24, on Friday afternoon.
A post mortem examination of the deceased man has been completed. The preliminary results are not being released for operational reasons.
Gardaà are appealing for witnesses to come forward and are seeking any available camera footage, including dashcam recordings, from anyone who was travelling in the area of the junction of Second Avenue and Cookstown Way, Cookstown, Dublin 24, between 10pm on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, and 1:30pm on Friday, March 27th, 2026.
