Fans of the period shows have been flocking to the parlour from all over the world

Standing in a quaint Wicklow tea parlour, sporting a top hat and bearing a cane, with Strauss playing softly in the background as I recited poetry to the proprietor dressed in full Victorian attire, all thoughts of the regular lunch hour rush faded, replaced by the unhurried elegance of a bygone era.
A sense of authenticity was evident from the moment I crossed the threshold at Victorian Tea Times on Arklow’s Main Street, where every minute detail, from the velvet sofas and ornate candelabras to the embossed wallpaper, tiered silver cake stands and antique serving trolley, has been carefully curated to provide an utterly immersive experience.
