Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street fans see Sam Blakeman’s paranoia and anxiety get the better of him next week, as he tells his loved ones that Will Driscoll has been bullying him.

After revealing to Hope Dobbs that he’s been reading up on grooming cases, Sam is stunned when he later spots Will and Megan Walsh together in the precinct.

He’s quick to alert Will’s parents, but the lad swears that he hasn’t left the pub all day. Were Sam’s eyes deceiving him, or is Will still lying to everyone?

“Megan’s campaign of intimidation has taken a huge toll on Sam’s mental state,” explains our Corrie spy.

“Even though her vile behaviour has now been laid bare, Sam is still terrified of both her and Will. But that fear is beginning to take over his life…”

It’s clear Sam could benefit from some counselling, but Leanne and Toyah Battersby can’t agree on exactly what it is he needs.

Meanwhile, Will offers an apology to Sam for everything he put him through. Although the lad reluctantly accepts, it’s obvious he still doesn’t trust Will.

Later in the week, Sam spots Will chatting to Liam Connor and approaches him, letting Will know that his intimidation tactics won’t work on him.

Returning home, Will tells Eva Price and Maggie Driscoll that Sam has been making up lies about him – prompting Eva to head over to the Bistro to confront Leanne, Nick and Toyah.

So far, Eva has been on the same page as the trio – helping them present a united front in their efforts to bring Megan to justice for her crimes. But is that starting to change?

“Eva furiously accuses Sam of throwing around false accusations,” continues our insider.

“Nick tries to calm the situation by suggesting the lads bury the hatchet over a pizza. Sam’s clearly uneasy at the idea of hanging out with Will – but does he have good reason? Or is he simply letting his anxiety get the better of him?”

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
