Irish sunseekers face the prospect of package-holiday fuel surcharges, spiralling airfare costs and flight cancellations as the impact of the Iran war escalates.
Turkish-German airline SunExpress, which has routes out of Cork and Dublin, has already added a fuel surcharge of €10 a passenger for routes between Turkey and mainland Europe.
