The parents of a schoolgirl who died after being hit by a scrambler have said there is no point having a new law banning the bikes if gardaí are not allowed to chase riders.

Grace Lynch (16) died after being hit by a scrambler at a pedestrian crossing near her home at Valley Park Road, Finglas, Dublin, on January 25.
