In horribly difficult playing conditions, Ulster booked their place in the Challenge Cup quarter-final after overcoming the Ospreys in an arm-wrestle of a contest.
It sets up another home tie for Ulster when they will take on Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle next Friday evening, with a place in the last four for the winners.
