It is certainly a happy Easter for Lisa McHugh, as she shared positive news about her health as she continues her ongoing battle with an incurable illness.
The country singer has been open about her ‘incredibly scary’ sickness since being diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in 2025, and now she has revealed things are looking up.
The disorder, which affects the way the brain and nervous system work, leads to a range of neurological symptoms such as limb weakness, paralysis, seizures, walking difficulties, spasms, sensory issues, and cognitive problems.

It has left the Glasgow woman in hospital when it flares up, though Lisa has revealed that she is on the mend from her last bad stint.
Fans were thrilled to see the mum-of-two looking healthy and happy as she posed with her son, Milo, and her daughter, Hallie.
‘It’s been a while,’ she penned. ‘I took a little step back from everything for a minute to focus on building myself and my energy back up again after my last sickness, and to spend some proper time on the things that matter most.’

‘The kids have definitely kept me busy (as you can see) and brought plenty of smiles along the way,’ the proud mum wrote.
‘I’m feeling really good and have recovered well, so I’ll be checking in more often and keeping you updated on what’s coming up – I’ve got some really exciting things and events ahead that I’m looking forward to! But for now… It’s back to the Easter eggs for me.’
