For a man who was once treated as a messiah in these parts, it was a strange Easter Monday for Stephen Kenny.
When the Oriel Park crowd rose to applaud his son Eoin in the second half, it should have been a lovely moment for all the family especially as his friend – another local Shane Tracey – had scored a first-half goal that helped to seal the points for the hosts.
