A few years ago, Keiran Lee went viral for claiming his co-star Angela White had ‘almost died’ following a day of filming.

And while that turned out to be somewhat dramatic, the Aussie adult star had in fact ended up needing ‘emergency surgery’.

The 41-year-old has a first-class honours degree in gender studies, having researched women’s experiences in the Australian porn industry.

Having worked in the industry herself since 2003, number one star White has certainly had her fair share of experiences.

That includes Lee repeating claims on the Pillow Talk podcast back in 2023 that he ‘put her into hospital’ after a day of filming together in 2013.

“This was actually not on purpose,” he did clarify, as they’d been going at it ‘for over an hour’.

“After that, I’m like, ‘See you, sweetheart. [Have a] lovely day’,” he explained

But then he was apparently shocked to hear that White had been complaining about some abdominal pain before finding out two days later that she’d returned to Australia.

“She said her stomach was hurting, and she had to go see a doctor,” Lee said.

“Apparently her appendix burst in the scene, which could have killed her,” he claimed on the podcast, before adding: “I don’t know but listen, I could have killed Angela White on our first scene.”

The pair have stayed pals though it seems and went on to film more scenes together.

What Angela White says actually happened

While Lee was going about claiming she had ‘nearly died’ following filming, White eventually cleared things up.

Speaking out on the Only Stans podcast with host Glenny Balls, the three-time AVN Female Performer of the Year winner clarified that her appendix ‘actually did not burst’.

The award-winning adult star, who reportedly has a net worth of $10 million (£7.5m), added: “But it is true I had appendicitis and did have to have emergency surgery to have it removed.”

This, of course, can lead to your appendix bursting as the condition worsens.

Appendicitis is the painful swelling of the appendix caused by inflammation with symptoms including pain in the middle of your tummy that can come and go, nausea, loss of appetite and constipation or diarrhoea. It can become very serious and is usually treated by an emergency surgery to remove it.

White clarified that it was ‘likely a pure coincidence’ that it came on to be painful during filming.

She joked: “But there’s more room in there, now that [my appendix] has been removed! There’s a lot more room to accommodate.”

The star also added on social media: “They had to make an incision above my pubic bone and at my hip. The scarring was minimal and the recovery was pretty fast. I did a porn expo four days after surgery.”

White has previously opened up about the ‘biggest mistake’ she ever made and answered the question that everyone wants to know about her career.
