A Wexford clown fears he may have to stop performing due to rising costs if he is unable to secure the new Basic Income for Arts scheme (BIA).

John McLoughlin (61) is the face behind “Giggles The Clown” and has been working as a performing clown for more than 35 years, providing entertainment at parties and schools across the country.
