Taoiseach Micheál Martin said he is “open” to the idea of nuclear energy in Ireland but said the cost of building a plant and the time needed to do so are significant concerns.
This comes as a motion in favour of nuclear power is to go before the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis next month.
