In an interview with Filmygyan, Bhasker opened up about the online hate after she had given birth to her daughter for her weight gain. As a mainstream actress who has experienced the negativity, Bhasker claimed that she has been facing trolls for nearly a decade. “Initially, when you have given birth to a child, you are very sensitive, you are very fragile, and your mental state also tends to be soft. Everything affected me more that time,” she said, adding that people were cruel towards her.

Citing that it’s natural to gain a fair share of kilos after giving birth, she highlighted that there is a lot of pressure towards women, especially actresses, to bounce back. “I think the actresses who manage to bounce back, they are shown as a great achievement, which is a good thing, but I feel everyone has a choice,” she said, adding that she doesn’t even believe in bouncing back.Meanwhile, Swara Bhasker and her husband, Farad Ahmed, are the participants in the reality show ‘Pati, Patni Aur Panga.’
