Proposals to add 35 new bedrooms to a boutique hotel on Bray seafront have been refused by Wicklow County Council (WCC).
The application, lodged by Beachline Limited, sought permission for the change of use of an existing first‑floor nightclub at The Palm, on Strand Road, a protected Victorian building, to hotel accommodation, together with a side extension and a two‑storey extension above an existing rear structure.
