Next shoppers have been loving a pair of “unique” ballet flats that are “perfect for summer”. The Forever Comfort® Weave Point Ballet Flats are the perfect summer shoe as we put our winter boots away for another year.
The pointed-toe shoes, €65, are available in two colour options – black, white and red, and nude/pink. The nude/pink colourway has sizes 4.5 to 9 in stock at the time of writing, while all sizes are currently available in the black, white and red option.
They feature a Forever Comfort® cushioned footbed which Next promises will provide all-day comfort, meaning you can wear these shoes from dawn until dusk with zero pain.

Elsewhere, River Island stocks the Beige Ring Buckle Strap Wedge Sandals for €54. If you’re looking for a flat sandal option, Marks & Spencer’s Leather Flat Mule Sandals come in both tan and orange colourways, and are priced at €34.
The Next ballet flats have received six reviews so far, with an impressive average rating of 4.5 stars. However, many reviews warned shoppers to size down, as the shoes do run large.
“Lovely comfortable shoes. I normally take a size 6 but they were too big so ended up with the 5and a half,” one review read.
Another penned: “Perfect for summer. Thankful for the comment re sizing. These are very generous! I’m usually an 8 or a W7 but these in a 7 are spot on so consider sizing down.”
A third said: “Lovely, soft, comfortable shoes. Have been looking for a pointy toe shoe & these are perfect! The colours are great.”

Shoppers advised others to size down
“Fabulous pair of ballet flats, very comfy and I would say quite a generous wide fit, true to size, colour way says pink but it’s very much natural and they go with everything, may have to buy other colour available,” raved one shopper.
However, one person who left a three-star review had some minor criticism.
“These shoes are ok,” they said. “I didn’t realise they were weaves with gaps, meaning small holes in the shoes. They are very pointy and the underside is shiny meaning no grip. However, they are unique and look good.”
